BCPG Launches “BCPG Paper Ranger” Initiative, Turning Used Paper into Handmade Notebooks for Students in Remote Areas

Recently, BCPG Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Rural Reconstruction Foundation under the Royal Patronage, organized the “BCPG Paper Ranger” activity. The initiative invites employees to repurpose single-sided used A4 paper collected from the office into handmade notebooks, which are then donated to students in remote areas who lack essential learning materials.

Within 3 hours of the activity, a total of 1,700 sheets of used paper were transformed into 85 notebooks, which are equivalent to reducing 8.755 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions, or comparable to planting one tree.

The BCPG Paper Ranger initiative reflects the company’s commitment to promoting awareness of the Circular Economy among employees by maximizing resource efficiency. It also aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 13: Climate Action, and Goal 4: Quality Education.
