BCPG Sets IPO Price at THB 10.00 per share, Anticipating Oversubscription

Renewable power generator and seller, BCPG, sets its IPO price at THB 10.00 per share (the maximum price of the preliminary offering price range of THB 9.80 per share to THB 10.00 per share), at which, despite the current market volatility, a significant number of institutional investors expressed interest in subscribing for its shares at the maximum price of THB 10.00 per share. According to BCPG management, the enthusiasm among the institutional investors shows their confidence in the company’s operations and the growth potentials of its renewable power business.

Mr.Bundit Sapianchai, President of BCPG, revealed that,after the book-building process for which the preliminary offering price range from THB 9.80 per share to THB 10.00 per share were proposed to institutional investors, a considerable number of institutional investors expressed their interest, despite the current stock market volatility, in subscribing for the company’s new shares at the maximum price of THB 10.00 per share, which reflects their confidence in the company’s growth potentials.

The shares will be available for subscription by specific group of BCP’s shareholders who are entitled to the allotment between 14-16 September and by general investors, institutional investors, and BCPG’s patronage on 16, 19, and 20 September. The stock is expected to be listed and traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand by the end of September.

“Although the current stock market slumps,the book-building process showed that a great number of large funds expressed their interest in subscribing for BCPG’s shares at the maximum price of THB 10.00 per share. This reflects their confidence in BCPG’s strong fundamentals,” he said.

BCPG is offering 590 million newly issuedshares, or 29.6% of the company’s post-IPO registeredand paid-up capital, so that after the IPO its paid-up capital will stand at THB 9,950 billion, divided into shares with par value at THB 5.00per share.
