Niwat Adirek, President and CEO of BCPG, disclosed on March 29, 2022, that the Company has recently commenced commercial operation of 25-MW solar power plant in Komagane, Japan. BCPG’s Komagane power project has entered into 100% power purchase agreement with Chubu Electric Power Company. The Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) rate under such agreement, for 20 years, is 36 Yen/kWh.

“Our total production capacity in Japan is 89.7 MW. The total capacity of COD projects, including Komagane project, is 59.7 MW. Other solar power projects, with total production capacity of 30 MW, are still under development and are expected to start COD in the near future”, said Niwat.
